It proceeds to a step-by-step guide to getting started and maintaining your own investment portfolio. The book is written by two physicians who learned the hard way about investing while running a busy clinical practice. While not professional investors, the authors are quite experienced through investing their own money and assisting friends and colleagues with their finances. The book is written in plain English, and does not resort to jargon or cartoons to keep the reader’s attention.
